Cinnamon Chocolate Tea

The ingredients are simple for this recipe. You need: a cup of milk, a teaspoon of tea powder or a tea bag (Rooibos, Black Tea or any black tea versions), a half teaspoon of cocoa powder and a pinch of cinnamon.

Start this recipe by pouring the milk into a pot. Put it on the heat and let it boil. Meanwhile add the tea powder or tea bag. Then add the cocoa powder and cinnamon. Shimmer it while whisking it well. Until it comes to a boil. Then stop the heat and leave it covered a few minutes. After a couple of minutes, strain the tea. Add honey or sugar to taste. You can serve it hot in cold afternoons. Or you can let it cool and add some ice cubes, for an afternoon refreshment in the summer.

This is a refreshing version of this delicious tea. You will need 1 cup of water, a tea bag of Mint Tea, half tablespoon of cocoa powder and a tablespoon of milk.

Put the water on the heat to boil. Meanwhile add the tea bag and the rest of the ingredients. Whisk it constantly, until it comes to a boil. Remove the tea bag. And your tea is ready. Sweeten it with honey or sugar. Due to the mint, this is an excellent choice for a summer afternoon refreshing beverage. If you add some ice cubes, after letting it cool down. But it taste equally as delicious when warm.

Jamaican Chocolate Tea

This recipe is truly delicious. You will need a half liter (500ml) of water, 75g of cocoa powder of great quality, a cinnamon stick or half teaspoon of cinnamon powder and a pinch of ground nutmeg.

Mix all the ingredients in a pot, then put it on the heat. Let the whole mix to simmer for about 5 minutes. Then strain the tea. You can add sugar or milk/cream to taste.
